Nagpur youth's head split with stone by friends after he objected to bike stunt

Nagpur: A youth paid a heavy price for objecting to a bike stunt. Angered by his advice, his own friends beat him and attacked him with a stone, splitting his head open. Ritik alias Rajjo Dhoke was seriously injured in the attack. The incident took place on Sunday night in Swaminagar, under Panchpaoli police station limits.

Police have registered a case against the accused, Tushar Kiran Parate, Bhushan Sachin Khapre and a youth identified as Kadu. According to police, all three have criminal tendencies and cases have been registered against them earlier as well.

On Sunday night, Ritik was riding pillion on a bike with Tushar. Tushar was riding at high speed and began performing a stunt by lifting the front wheel into the air. Ritik fell off the bike and was injured. He advised Tushar not to perform such dangerous stunts. An argument broke out between the two over this.

The dispute escalated so far that Tushar, with the help of his associates Bhushan and Kadu, began beating Ritik. The accused attacked him with a stone and split his head open. Ritik, seriously injured, was taken to the Medical hospital.

Acting on his complaint, Panchpaoli police have registered a case against the three accused and begun an investigation.
