Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is India's top-selling 7-seater in October 2026 with 20,641 units sold

Maruti Suzuki's 7-seater Ertiga was the best-selling 7-seater car in the country in October 2026. In that month, 20,641 customers bought the Ertiga.

In October 2025, the car had sold 20,087 units. Sales have risen 3 per cent compared with that. The figure shows the MPV's strong hold on the market.

On design, the car has a chrome winged grille, stylish projector headlamps and a muscular bumper at the front, which give it a premium look. 15-inch alloy wheels on the sides and attractive LED tail lamps at the rear add to its appeal.

The Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C smart hybrid petrol engine. The engine produces 101.64 bhp of power and 136.8 Nm of torque. The gearbox is offered in both 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic options.

The car is hard to beat on mileage. Its petrol variant returns about 20.3 to 20.51 km per litre, while the CNG variant reaches up to 26.11 km per kg. This makes it quite economical for long family journeys.

The cabin is spacious and comfortable. Features include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, roof-mounted AC vents for rear passengers and paddle shifters.

On safety, Maruti has provided 6 airbags as standard, along with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), hill-hold assist and a rear parking camera.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.90 lakh. With its better features and ample space, the car is considered value for money by middle-class families.
