Marathi comedy Afratafri, on three brothers and their father's insurance money, to stream on ZEE5

Afratafri, a new family comedy, is set to arrive on the OTT platform for Marathi viewers. The film will stream on Marathi ZEE5 from November 13, 2026. It is directed by Milind Zumber Kavade.

Mohan Agashe, Sanjay Narvekar, Shashank Shende and Onkar Bhojane play the lead roles. Asawari Joshi, Prajakta Hanamghar, Kiran Mane, Neha Khan and Hemant Patil appear in important roles alongside them.

The story revolves around the lives of three brothers. Struggling with financial difficulties, each tries to set his circumstances right in his own way. The father of the three dies, and the prospect of a large insurance payout arises.

In the hope of getting the money, the brothers begin to hatch separate plans. Their financial needs, personal ambitions and questionable decisions lead to one muddle after another. Misunderstandings, differences and unexpected events add to the humour as the story unfolds.

The film is not limited to comedy and confusion. It also shows how greed for money, financial hardship and personal selfishness affect family relationships. It raises the question of what happens to family bonds when money creates rifts between close relatives.

Director Milind Zumber Kavade has combined comedy, drama and emotional moments in the film. Viewers can expect the quirks of family relationships, conflict between brothers and boisterous comic situations. After its run on the big screen, the film now comes to OTT and can be watched on Marathi ZEE5 from November 13.
