Marathi actor Pralhad Kurtadkar and wife Anjali welcome their first child

Pralhad Kurtadkar, who plays Pandu in the popular Marathi television serial "Ratris Khel Chale", has become a father. He shared the news himself in a special video on social media, and in the same post he thanked his wife, Anjali, from the heart.

Writing about his feelings after becoming a father, Kurtadkar said, "I have lived many relationships and played many roles till today... and now we have become 'mother and father' for a tiny life." He wrote that the moment he had awaited for so many months had settled into his arms. When he felt the touch of the baby's small hand, he realised that God had placed in their hands something to be cared for all their lives, he said.

Kurtadkar also spoke of the wishes and dreams in his heart, and of his eagerness to watch every moment of the child's life. "Now I have to witness the first steps, get lost in the lisping speech, and encourage the little dreams. In raising the child, I have to become a child once again," he said.

He also expressed love and gratitude to Anjali. He said that watching her journey to motherhood had deepened his respect for her. In his words, "How much can I thank Anjali for all this joy? She has given me the most beautiful gift of life. Watching her journey to becoming a mother, my respect and love for her have grown even more."

Kurtadkar also wrote, "Our laughter and our very being have found a new reason. You have given us love so far, please keep showering your affection on this new journey too." With these words he sought fans' love and blessings.

Fans and colleagues from the entertainment industry have showered the actor with congratulations, and many people are wishing him well on social media.

Kurtadkar is currently working on the writing of the Zee Marathi serial "Tarini". He has also appeared in the film "Shevtcha Kurli To Vengurla". Active in both acting and writing, he now takes on a new responsibility as a parent.
