Make a coconut water face mist at home for dry skin
A simple DIY face mist made with coconut water, rose water and aloe vera can help keep dry skin fresh and hydrated.
Sun, dust, pollution and the daily grind take a direct toll on the face, gradually leaving skin dry and dull. A fresh face is real beauty, and keeping it that way needs a little extra care. Dry skin will not fix itself, so a few simple remedies help, and not all skincare needs to be expensive if the right trick is used. This DIY coconut water face mist made at home can help keep dry skin fresh and glowing.
To prepare the face mist, you need half a cup of fresh coconut water, one tablespoon of rose water, one teaspoon of aloe vera gel, two to three drops of vitamin E oil and two to three drops of tea tree oil. If your skin is sensitive, do a patch test before using tea tree oil. If any ingredient causes irritation or discomfort, leave it out of the mist.
The method is simple. First take coconut water in a bowl. Add rose water and aloe vera gel to it. Once all the ingredients are well mixed, add the vitamin E and tea tree oil drops and mix well again. Then strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cloth. Fill the prepared liquid into a spray bottle. It can be chilled in the fridge for a while before applying, which gives the skin a cool, fresh feeling. Spray this mist on the face and gently massage with the hands for a few seconds.
Coconut water and aloe vera gel keep the skin hydrated, bringing freshness to the face and helping reduce wrinkles. Making the face mist at home also costs nothing extra.
A few precautions are important too. Since natural coconut water is used, do not leave the mist out; keep the bottle in the fridge. Always do a patch test on a small area of skin before applying it to the face. If it causes irritation or redness, stop using it.
