After the ruling Mahayuti won only two of five Legislative Council seats, allegations of poor coordination between the BJP and Shinde's Shiv Sena have surfaced.

Politics in Maharashtra has heated up after the results of the Legislative Council elections. Defeats on some seats have raised questions about the performance of the ruling Mahayuti. There is also talk about coordination between the BJP and the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde. Amid this, a claim that a demand has been raised to make Shinde Chief Minister again is also being discussed.

Of the five seats, the Mahayuti did not get the success it expected. According to the information provided, Mahayuti candidates won two of the five seats, while the other three went to the Opposition.

The result from Nagpur is the most discussed. Nagpur is the headquarters of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and the BJP lost there. The Opposition is criticising the ruling party over this. The result has also raised questions about the Mahayuti's election strategy, and is seen as a setback for the BJP.

There are reports of differences among the Mahayuti partners over their performance in the elections. BJP spokesperson Navnath Kamal is said to have alleged that the Shiv Sena did not give as much cooperation as it should have in the Pune and Nagpur elections.

Reference has been made to the support given to the candidate in Pune. Abdul Sattar's campaign against the Nationalist Congress in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has also been mentioned. It is claimed that this affected the Mahayuti's seats. However, the official stand of the parties concerned, and the situation in each region, need to be examined separately.

Following the BJP's allegations, there are reports of comments from the Shiv Sena on the government's functioning. Shiv Sena leader Ravindra Dhangekar is said to have said that teacher and graduate voters are unhappy with the government.

Against this background, the demand to make Shinde Chief Minister again is said to have surfaced. It is claimed that a change of leadership was sought on the question of maintaining coordination among the allies. But there is no information available that this demand has the backing of the Mahayuti's official leadership.

The poll defeat, mutual allegations and statements on leadership have brought the issue of coordination within the Mahayuti into discussion. If differences between local BJP and Shiv Sena leaders grow, it could affect future political strategy.

Even so, more concrete information is needed to conclude that the entire alliance is in conflict on the basis of election results. What happens next will depend on talks between the parties, official reactions and the stand of senior leaders.

The allegations within the Mahayuti have given the Maha Vikas Aghadi parties a chance to target the ruling side. The Opposition can use the results to question the government's performance.

All eyes are now on what senior BJP and Shiv Sena leaders say about the allegations, and whether any official response comes to the demand for Shinde's leadership. How deep the claim about making Shinde Chief Minister again and the differences between the parties run can be confirmed only by official information.
