Hyundai offers up to Rs 75,000 off cars and SUVs in October, including Grand i10 Nios

With the festive season under way, the auto market is full of offers to draw customers. South Korean carmaker Hyundai has announced heavy discounts on its vehicles for October.
Discounts of up to Rs 75,000 are being offered on the company's cars and SUVs. These include a special offer on the Grand i10 Nios, Hyundai's hugely popular entry-level hatchback, whose ex-showroom price starts at Rs 5.60 lakh.
The discount comes in several parts: a cash discount, a Navratri booking bonus, an exchange or scrappage benefit and an upgrade bonus. Select corporate, government and rural customers can also avail of the offer directly.
On the petrol model, the cash discount is Rs 20,000. There is an additional Navratri booking bonus of Rs 15,000, an exchange benefit of Rs 15,000 and a scrappage benefit of Rs 20,000. An extra upgrade offer of Rs 15,000 is also available, while a separate discount of Rs 5,000 has been kept for customers in rural areas.
The CNG variant of the car gets total benefits of Rs 70,000. Customers have also been given the benefit of the exchange and scrappage policy.
The Grand i10 Nios has a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, which produces 83 PS of power and a peak torque of 113.8 Nm. There are two gearbox options, a 5-speed manual and a Smart Auto AMT.
The car is considered economical on mileage. The company claims the petrol variant delivers 18 km per litre and the CNG variant 27 km per kg.
The cabin offers several features, including footwell lighting, a Type-C front USB charger, a tyre pressure monitoring system and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also has rear AC vents, an emergency stop signal, a rear power outlet, a cooled glove box and cruise control for long journeys.
For safety, it comes with six airbags, including side and curtain airbags. Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) and Hill Assist Control (HAC) are also provided.
The car, priced from Rs 5.60 lakh ex-showroom, is available with discounts of up to Rs 75,000 during the festive period.
