Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced prices for two new motorcycles aimed at customers looking to buy an adventure bike: the Honda XR300 L and the Honda XR300 Rally. Bookings have opened across the country, with an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 1.83 lakh. A powerful engine, off-road capability and new features are drawing riders' attention to the bikes.

The ex-showroom price of the Honda XR300 L in Bengaluru is Rs 1,83,000, while customers will have to pay Rs 2,08,000 for the Honda XR300 Rally. The prices have been in effect since October 5, 2026.

Both motorcycles will be available only through authorised Honda BigWing dealerships. Customers can book by paying Rs 5,000 on the company's official website or through the Honda BigWing dealer network. The prices are Bengaluru ex-showroom rates. In other cities, the final on-road price may differ depending on taxes, insurance and registration charges.

The Honda XR300 L is built for both daily commuting and off-road adventure. Its biggest attraction is the ability to run on city roads as well as on mud, gravel, sand and rocky tracks.

The bike has a 293.5cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler. It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control, Pro-Link rear suspension and disc brakes at the front and rear. For safety, it has a switchable dual-channel ABS system and an assist slipper clutch.

The Honda XR300 L will be available in two colours, Extreme Red and Shasta White. It could prove a useful option for customers who ride daily and also enjoy off-road riding on weekends.

The Honda XR300 Rally has been designed for long journeys and varied terrain. Its highlights include a rally-bike-inspired design and a build that offers comfort on the road and protection from the wind.

This model also has the 293.5cc air-cooled engine with an oil cooler. It comes with a TFT meter with Honda RoadSync connectivity, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Pro-Link rear suspension, disc brakes on both wheels and switchable dual-channel ABS. The assist slipper clutch is meant to make riding easier. The bike will come in Extreme Red and True Black.

Comparing the two, the Honda XR300 L, priced at Rs 1.83 lakh, may be more useful for daily commuting along with off-road riding. The Rs 2.08 lakh Honda XR300 Rally may appeal to customers who want long-distance riding, touring and a rally-inspired design.

By introducing the two motorcycles, Honda has expanded its adventure bike portfolio in India. While strengthening the Make in India initiative, the company aims to offer more options for city commuting, weekend trails and long-distance riding.
