A sandwich of multigrain bread, vegetables and a homemade paneer spread is suggested as an easy breakfast for weight loss that children and the rest of the family can also eat.
Fearing weight gain, many people skip breakfast altogether. To shed excess body fat, people try changes in diet, expensive supplements, hours of exercise and even pills and medicines. But if weight loss is attempted the wrong way, the effect shows directly on the body. It is therefore considered important to include foods that are easily digested.
With this in mind, here is an easy recipe for a high-protein sandwich. It can be eaten not only by those trying to lose weight but also by children and the rest of the family. Different vegetables go into it, which benefit the body and improve health. Instead of mayonnaise, tomato ketchup or creams and sandwich spreads loaded with cheese from the market, a homemade paneer spread is described as better for the body.
For the ingredients, you will need paneer, multigrain bread, garlic, chilli flakes, salt, black pepper powder, coriander, curd, onion, carrot, cucumber and capsicum. Other vegetables of your choice and some oil will also be needed.
Start with a mixer jar. Put in pieces of paneer, garlic cloves, chilli flakes, salt, black pepper powder and fresh curd. Add salt to taste and grind everything into a paste. Once the paste is perfectly smooth, take it out into a bowl. This sauce can also be eaten with other items.
Now add finely chopped onion, grated carrot, cucumber and capsicum to the prepared cream and mix well. Spread this mixture evenly on one slice of multigrain bread and place a second slice on top to make the sandwich. Cheese can also be added if desired.
Finally, heat a griddle, place the sandwich on it, drizzle ghee or oil along the edges and toast it crisp on both sides. The high-protein sandwich is then ready. It will be liked by everyone at home, from children upwards.
