With only a few days left for Diwali, the festive season brings excitement and cheer everywhere. People try many remedies to keep their faces fresh and glowing at this time. Beyond the face, many go in for treatments and change their skin care routine so that their weight, hair and whole body look good.
However, preparing naturally is likely to be more beneficial for the body than repeatedly using expensive products. Celebrity dietitian Rujuta Diwekar has shared a few tips. According to her, following them could bring a glowing look to the face before Diwali and help in reducing weight.
The first tip is rice water. After dinner, a bowl of rice water should be drunk at the very end. The taste is better still if black pepper powder or ghee is added. Rice water keeps digestion in order and keeps the body feeling fresh.
Rice water is also likely to help ease growing digestive problems and digest food easily. When digestion is good, its benefits show on the body on their own.
The second tip is eating amla. Amla sherbet, amla supari, amla pickle and amla murabba should all be included in daily meals. Eating amla gives many benefits not only to the hair but to the whole body, and helps improve health.
Amla contains a large amount of vitamin C, which helps hair grow faster and keeps health good. Its beneficial compounds raise immunity, reduce weakness and also help in reducing pimples on the face.
The third important point is regular physical activity. Exercise, yoga asanas and stair-climbing exercises activate the inner thigh area and help reduce the layer of fat built up around the belly.
Exercising on stairs is described as necessary to loosen the muscles of the waist, back and neck. In addition, if Surya Namaskar or other yoga asanas are done daily, changes will be seen in the body.
