Wrinkles and blemishes on the face are common with age. Many people turn to expensive market products to remove them. But many of these products are said to contain chemicals and are not good for the skin. Sometimes they can even make the face worse.

It is said that there is a natural remedy for every problem. A method of improving skin health with the blue butterfly pea flower has been put forward, and a face serum can be prepared at home from the flower.

It is claimed that butterfly pea contains antioxidants, polyphenols and flavonoids, which promote the natural formation of collagen and elastin in the skin. This claim is part of the information written on the flower. No statement from a doctor or hospital accompanies it.

First, the ingredients. Six to eight fresh or dried butterfly pea flowers are needed, along with half a glass of water and one teaspoon of aloe vera pulp.

Now the method. Take 7-8 fresh flowers and wash them well with water before use. Put the flowers in a glass vessel, add hot water, cover the vessel and leave it for 10 minutes. This releases the flowers' blue colour into the water.

When the water has cooled, strain it well through a cloth or a sieve. Then mix aloe vera gel into the water, and the face serum is ready. Fill the serum in a spray bottle and apply it to the face regularly.

The video on which the method is based also used a vitamin E capsule. However, it is said that this is not beneficial for everyone's skin. Some people may have irritation or pigmentation problems from it, so it is advised to avoid using it.

A patch test before applying it to the skin is also advised. If irritation occurs, use should be stopped.
