Most people caught up in work find little time for skincare. Rising sun exposure, pollution, smoke and dust leave the skin dull and aggravate related problems. When these begin at a young age, the face loses its glow, pigmentation, tanning and dead skin increase, and the skin starts to sag early.

When skin quality worsens, people try various remedies, from expensive facials to skin treatments. But the glow from a facial does not last long. For this reason, garlic has been suggested for the skin in place of costly skincare products. The method of using it is given below.

To remove pigmentation and tanning, take 10 to 12 garlic cloves and grate them finely. Heat milk in a pan, add the grated garlic and keep it on a low flame. Switch off the gas when the milk has reduced to half.

Once the milk cools, strain it. Add aloe vera gel and glycerine and mix everything well. Store the mixture in a glass jar. It can be used for 8 to 10 days.

Before applying the cream, wash the face clean and dry it. Take the cream on the hand, apply it to the face and massage gently for 5 to 7 minutes. The skin does not need to be washed afterwards. Applying the cream daily is said to help the skin glow from within. A patch test should be done before applying any cream to the skin.

Garlic contains azelaic acid, which reduces pigmentation and tanning and makes the skin soft and attractive. Expensive skincare products are not always needed to make skin look younger; kitchen ingredients can also be used.

Women often get repeated facials and cleanups to reduce pigmentation marks, and constant use of chemical products leaves the skin dry. Home remedies have therefore been suggested to enhance the face's glow.
