A body buried underground was found in the Anjangaon forest area under the jurisdiction of Butibori police station in Nagpur, causing alarm in the area. The deceased is said to be 38 years old and has been identified as Darshan alias Dinesh Masram.

Police initially suspect that the body may have been buried in the forest to hide evidence after a murder. This is only the police's preliminary assessment and not a confirmed conclusion. The manner in which the body was buried and the items found at the spot have led to comparisons with the story of the film "Drishyam".

According to information received, Darshan's mental state had not been well for the past few days. He had left home on Saturday but did not return until late at night. When his family grew worried over his not returning, they began searching for him. Despite inquiring in the neighbourhood and with several acquaintances, no clue about Darshan's whereabouts was found. After hours of effort yielded nothing, the family finally went to Butibori police station themselves on Monday morning and filed a complaint about his disappearance.

During this, a relative of the family informed police that Darshan was suspected to be in the Anjangaon forest. The same relative also raised the suspicion that Darshan may have been murdered and his body buried in that same forest. This was only the relative's apprehension, not confirmed information. Based on this information, police lost no time in launching a search operation in the Anjangaon forest.

During the search, the police team noticed that the ground in one part of the forest appeared suspicious. On digging up the ground, Darshan's body was recovered from there. Given the seriousness of the matter, police have begun further investigation. At present, the entire case rests on suspicion and apprehension; police have not yet confirmed murder, and the investigation is ongoing.
