Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said Amit Shah created the party factions to weaken Maharashtra, after senior NCP leaders met the Union Home Minister in Delhi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and senior leaders of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) met in Delhi recently. The meeting has set off much discussion and varied claims. Media reports had said that senior NCP leaders met Shah without Sunetra Pawar. Against this backdrop, Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has sharply criticised the leaders of Sunetra Pawar's NCP.
Raut said Amit Shah had created these factions to weaken Maharashtra. He said both the Shiv Sena and NCP factions would be destroyed in a few days. "You sit at Amit Shah's feet. Amit Shah built a grave for Maharashtra's self-respect. They should be ashamed," Raut said.
Raut said the name and symbol were given by force, that they could not run a party and would always remain on their knees. He said these parties would soon lose their existence. He claimed that the party had become orphaned after Ajit Pawar and that it belonged to Sharad Pawar alone.
"We are not seeking talks with anyone, we are demanding Gyanesh Kumar's resignation," Raut said. Saying that the day before, in Telangana, they had been holding a march for the protection of democracy, Raut said, "We are holding a march of the murderers of democracy." He asked who democracy was supposed to be saved from.
Raut said Devendra Fadnavis's father took part in Jayaprakash's regime change movement. "Who are you to decide? We will decide the regime change. If Fadnavis runs short of blood, we will hold a blood donation camp. He will not need blood. But we will bring about regime change," Raut said.
"Modi will stay in Delhi but will go to Tihar jail," Raut said. He claimed that Rs 1,714 crore came from Chinese companies into the PM CARES Fund and that in return land in Arunachal and Ladakh was given away. He also said Rs 911 crore came from Chinese companies into the BJP's party fund. "Their brains have rotted," Raut said.
Raut asked whether the struggle for a united Maharashtra would be called anarchy. Fighting against injustice is not anarchy, Sanjay Raut said.
