Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said Sharad Pawar remains a strong pillar of the INDIA bloc and questioned reports of a call from the Prime Minister.

Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) MP Sanjay Raut has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a question. Raut said he had a question about the reports being circulated on Sharad Pawar and his party, that the Prime Minister called and said this and that. According to him, if the idea is that "we will all run the country together", then why were our parties broken? Why was Pawar's party broken? Why was the Shiv Sena broken?

Raut said Pawar is a strong pillar of the INDIA bloc and will remain so. He said Pawar's ideology is firm. He follows the progressive ideology of Shahu, Phule and Ambedkar, and nothing will go wrong there.

Raut said he had gone to meet Pawar the previous day. Pawar's health is such that he cannot talk for long, and he is undergoing treatment. Raut said the reports now emerging are their internal matter. He also said that those who have left Ajit Pawar's camp get no respect where they are and nobody asks after them.

Raut said that this time no fish, big or small, is getting caught in their net. He said the ruling party needs 36 more MPs in the country to get bills passed. Of Sunil Tatkare, Raut said that things are not going well for him where he is. Whether Hasan Mushrif or Praful Patel, according to Raut, the cases against them have ended. He said Parth Pawar is a leader and these people will now have to work with Parth Pawar. Raut said Parth Pawar may not take them along, but he is still taking the party forward in his own way. The party is his and he has the right to run it as he sees fit. According to Raut, his effort will be to bring young leadership forward.

Raut said Pawar is in politics at all times. Jayant Patil and Balasaheb Thorat were also there the previous day. Adani was also present, as was Raut himself. Pawar then wanted a book. Raut said he was going to invite him to the book's launch. According to Raut, Pawar said that the book would soon be known once read.

In the conversation, Raut also referred to a letter from Ashwini Bhide. Bhide has written to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. According to Raut, it says how some Mumbai builders are obtaining projects illegally. She has also named them. Raut said everything is being run in the name of the Chief Minister. Sanjay Raut said it is a very serious matter that the commissioner wrote such a letter in distress.
