Shiv Sena leader Nilesh Rane has targeted BJP spokesperson Navnath Ban in a social media post, as a row in the Mahayuti flares over the graduates' and teachers' constituency results.

The results of the state's three graduates' constituency seats and two teachers' constituency seats are out. The counting lasted about 45 hours. The last result to come was from the Nagpur graduates' seat, where the Congress won in a BJP stronghold. The expectation was that the Mahayuti would have the upper hand in these results too, but the opposite happened. The Maha Vikas Aghadi won three seats and the Mahayuti two. This is a setback for the Mahayuti. The BJP suffered a jolt in Nagpur as well as in Pune.

After the results, the BJP pointed a finger at the Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena. The BJP said its defeat was because the ally did not back it. The Legislative Council election has brought the dispute between the two sides into the open. BJP leaders are seen openly criticising Shinde's Shiv Sena. Ravindra Dhangekar also gave a strong reply, saying the BJP had fielded an extortionist candidate in Pune.

While the allegations and counter-allegations were still going on, Shiv Sena leader Nilesh Rane made a statement. He had said that the blame for the loss in the graduates' elections should not be pinned on the Shiv Sena. He also asked whether, if Navnath Ban does not have the strength to speak this much, someone else is making him speak.

Rane has now shared a social media post, through which he directly targeted BJP spokesperson Navnath Ban. In the post, Rane wrote: "Navnath Ban, stay within your limits while speaking about Shinde saheb. What is your standing, and how much do you talk." Rane's post is now going viral. The post says that Ban is criticising the Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena.

A spark of dispute has flared in the Mahayuti after the results of the five seats in the graduates' and teachers' constituencies. BJP spokesperson Navnath Ban had held the Shiv Sena responsible for the defeat. Shiv Sena leader Nilesh Rane has hit back at this statement. Earlier, Rane had given a direct warning not to create a rift in the alliance by making baseless allegations, saying that if they spoke against the Shiv Sena, the reply would also come in the Shiv Sena's style.
