An audio clip shared by Maratha agitator Manoj Jarange Patil has set off a controversy within the Mahayuti. After the clip surfaced, the Thackeray faction's Kishori Pednekar and the Opposition are making a sensational claim that Shinde took Rs 500 crore from the BJP and did not give it to Manoj Jarange.

Over the clip, senior Shinde faction leader Ramdas Kadam directly targeted Manoj Jarange Patil and ally BJP. Kadam put a pointed question to the BJP: who within the BJP has taken up the task of finishing off Eknath Shinde?

Following Kadam's aggressive stand, BJP leaders including Prasad Lad, Pravin Darekar and Navnath Ban are hitting back strongly. Prasad Lad and Pravin Darekar, both BJP MLAs, are continuously criticising Ramdas Kadam.

On the Shinde faction's side, Ramdas Kadam alone appears to be taking on the BJP directly. In the BJP, meanwhile, Kadam is being targeted from all sides. For this reason, talk has begun in political circles that Ramdas Kadam, who took on the BJP, has been left isolated in the Shiv Sena.

Except for Minister Uday Samant, no other Shiv Sena leader has replied to the BJP. Ramdas Kadam wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing displeasure over an alleged conspiracy by the ally party.

Shiv Sena leaders met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and demanded an inquiry into the clip. But the silence of Shiv Sena leaders over the BJP MLAs' criticism of Ramdas Kadam is plainly visible.

It is being said in political circles that Kadam, who directly challenged the BJP, has been left alone in the party. There is also quiet talk that infighting within the Shiv Sena has grown. All eyes are now on what stand the Shinde faction takes on Ramdas Kadam, who is said to be isolated.
