Woman walks 400m tightrope at 80m height without safety harness

At a height of nearly 80 metres above the ground, with a deep gorge below and a 400-metre wire stretched ahead, a woman tightrope walker pulled off the feat without any safety harness.

Tatiana-Mosio Bongonga set the thrilling record by walking a wire strung between two of Europe's tallest slag heaps. More than 9,000 people were present to watch the unusual feat. The performance, which began with musicians and singers playing, left the crowd holding its breath.

Bongonga travelled along the roughly 400-metre wire strung between the two tall slag heaps, tied at a height of about 80 metres above the ground.
