Vivek Oberoi marks 50th birthday by funding treatment for 50 children with cancer

Actor Vivek Oberoi celebrated his 50th birthday with children battling cancer and took on responsibility for funding the treatment of 50 children on the occasion. The event was organised by the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) on National Cancer Rose Day.

The meeting took place at the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra, Mumbai. Vivek Oberoi spoke openly with the children fighting cancer, cut a cake with them to celebrate his birthday, and also gave them gifts along with red roses.

Vivek Oberoi dedicated the occasion of bringing smiles to the children's faces to social responsibility and humanity. He then joined the children for a special vintage car ride, which the children also enjoyed with great enthusiasm. To mark National Cancer Rose Day, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link was lit up in red. Through the event, a message of hope, courage, empathy and social support was given to cancer patients and their families.

Vivek Oberoi said on the occasion, "I am proud to have worked together for the last two decades. Celebrating my 50th birthday with children battling cancer and contributing to their treatment is very special for me. Every child deserves the right to dream, grow up and live a healthy life."

Through this initiative, the message was given that society should stand with every patient fighting cancer and their family."
