Vespa has launched the Vibe scooter in India, with a 125cc version priced at Rs 1,65,500 and a 150cc version at Rs 1,78,000, both ex-showroom Delhi.
Vespa has launched its new Vespa Vibe scooter in the Indian market. It comes with two engine options, 125cc and 150cc. The scooter is drawing attention for its new design, 12-inch alloy wheels and 5-inch TFT display. According to dealer sources, the starting ex-showroom price is Rs 1.65 lakh.
The Vibe 125 is priced at Rs 1,65,500 ex-showroom Delhi, while the Vibe 150 costs Rs 1,78,000. Customers who want a smaller engine and a lower price can look at the 125cc variant. The 150cc variant is for those who want more power and ABS.
The design has also changed. The new Vibe gets sporty alloy wheels, a central trim on the front apron and large Vespa branding on the side panels. Rim stickers give the scooter a distinct look. The standard 125 and 150 models come in Azzurro Provenza and Pearl White, while the Vespa S Vibe is offered in Rosso Red and Matte Black.
A key change is the wheel size. The scooter now has 12-inch wheels at both front and rear. The earlier setup had an 11-inch wheel at the front and a 10-inch wheel at the rear. The new setup has changed the look of the scooter.
The Vespa Vibe has a 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, music control and call and SMS alerts. This allows some smartphone-linked features to be used directly on the display while riding.
The Vibe 125 has a 124cc air-cooled engine that produces 9.5 PS of power and 10.1 Nm of torque. The Vibe 150 has a 149.5cc air-cooled engine that generates 11.42 PS of power and 11.66 Nm of torque. For safety, the 150 and 150 S variants get single-channel ABS. Customers can choose a variant according to their needs, weighing price, power and safety.
