Ultraviolette has launched its new motorcycle, the X-47 Venom, in the electric bike market. The starting ex-showroom price is Rs 2.65 lakh. This introductory price will apply only to the first 5,000 customers. Bookings have opened on the company's official website, and the first deliveries are expected from November 2026.
The bike is the first motorcycle built on the company's new VX-100 100V architecture. The same platform will later be used in the Shockwave and Tesseract models. The company claims the new platform will deliver higher speed, better range, faster charging and quicker acceleration.
The bike has a new UV LightFury electric motor with a peak power of 40.2 bhp and wheel torque of 550 Nm. It reaches 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.7 seconds, while 0 to 100 kmph takes about 5.9 seconds. The company claims a top speed of 155 kmph.
On range, the bike uses SRB-11 battery technology. According to the company, its IDC range on a single charge is 343 km. The bike supports 12 kW DC fast charging. A 1.6 kW onboard charger comes as standard with the purchase.
The company claims the battery has higher energy density and twice the cooling performance of the previous technology. The battery housing is made of cast aluminium, and the battery pack has IP67 certification. The battery management system also includes a pyro-fuse.
Features include a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, UV Hypersense radar intelligence, front and rear dashcams, and cruise control. The bike weighs 180 kg. The company said it is about 20 kg lighter than the older platform.
The company is also offering an extended warranty option of up to 8 lakh km. In Europe, the bike will be presented at the EICMA event in Milan on November 3, 2026.
On range, the 343 km figure is the company's claimed IDC range. Actual range can vary with riding style, speed, road conditions and temperature.
