Triumph cuts prices of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 ahead of festive season
Triumph has reduced prices of its Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 motorcycles just weeks before Dussehra and Diwali.
With Dussehra and Diwali approaching, companies typically cut vehicle prices or roll out new offers to attract more buyers. Triumph has followed suit, lowering the price of its two best selling motorcycles, the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400.
Notably, the company had raised prices on these very models just two months ago, and has now cut them again. This is the third time since June this year that the company has revised their prices.
Triumph launched its 400 series in April. At the time, the Speed 400 was priced at 2.32 lakh rupees and the Scrambler 400 at 2.46 lakh rupees. In July, the company raised prices to 2.40 lakh rupees for the Speed 400 and 2.49 lakh rupees for the Scrambler 400.
Now, just ahead of the festive season, the company has cut prices again. The Speed 400 has been reduced by 6,000 rupees, from 2.40 lakh rupees to 2.34 lakh rupees. The Scrambler 400 has been cut by 7,000 rupees, from 2.49 lakh rupees to 2.42 lakh rupees.
The rest of Triumph's lineup has not become cheaper, only these two models have seen price cuts. The Speed T4 remains at 2.09 lakh rupees, the Scrambler 400X at 2.65 lakh rupees, the Scrambler 400XC at 2.99 lakh rupees and the Thruxton 400 at 2.75 lakh rupees, all unchanged. The Speed T4 remains the cheapest in the lineup and the 400XC the most expensive.
The engine and features on the two motorcycles remain unchanged, only the prices have been cut.
However, one new addition has arrived. The Scrambler 400X, whose price has not changed, now gets two new colour options, Matt Pewter Grey and Matt Khaki Green.
Buyers looking for a strong, stylish motorcycle in the 2 to 2.5 lakh rupee budget may want to consider these Triumph models. Showrooms may also offer additional festive season deals, so buyers are advised to check with dealers.
