Jio's Rs 448 prepaid plan offers 84 days of unlimited calling and 1,000 SMS, with no data quota
Reliance Jio's Rs 448 prepaid plan gives 84 days of validity, unlimited voice calls and 1,000 SMS, and suits users who rarely need mobile data.
Customers who want to cut their mobile recharge costs and do not need much internet data can consider Jio's Rs 448 plan. The recharge offers 84 days of validity, unlimited voice calling and 1,000 SMS. It is meant for subscribers who recharge only for calls and SMS.
The prepaid plan is available on Jio's official portal and is also listed on the MyJio app. It can be found under the Value category in the prepaid recharge section.
The main attraction is the 84-day validity. Once recharged for Rs 448, a user need not recharge again for about three months.
The plan includes unlimited calling, so users need not worry about talktime for local calls or calls to other networks. Roaming calling is also included, which helps while travelling or outside one's home state.
Subscribers also get 1,000 SMS, which can be useful for OTPs, banking and other important messages.
The plan does not carry a large internet data quota. It is therefore better suited to those who use their phones mainly for calls and SMS.
Most prepaid plans today bundle daily data with calling. For customers who use little mobile internet, the price of such plans can be needlessly high.
For such customers, the Rs 448 plan can be an option, and the 84-day validity removes the hassle of monthly recharges. It may be especially useful for senior citizens, those who keep a secondary number and those who use their phones mainly for calling.
Jio's plans can change from time to time. Customers should check the price, validity and benefits on Jio's official portal or the MyJio app before recharging.
