Trailer out for Prime Video's MX Original 'Ishq Ishq' with Hetty Shah, Satyajeet Dubey
Prime Video has released the trailer of the romantic thriller 'Ishq Ishq', which streams from October 7, 2026 on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app.
Prime Video on Monday released the trailer of its upcoming MX Original 'Ishq Ishq'. Prime Video is India's biggest streaming service for exclusive originals. The series is a sharp romantic thriller that explores the blurred lines between love, obsession and control.
The series is written by Rajesh Bachchan and directed by Amit Kumar Jha. The lead roles are played by Hetty Shah, Satyajeet Dubey and Anushka Kaushik. It is produced by Moving Images Studio Private Limited.
The story revolves around Kabir, an emerging writer, who is caught between two very different kinds of love. One gives him comfort, while the other feeds his turmoil.
The trailer introduces three lives caught in a deepening emotional tangle. Hetty Shah plays Aarohi, Satyajeet Dubey plays Kabir and Anushka Kaushik plays Suhani. For Aarohi, love means Kabir must belong entirely to her. There is very little room for distance, suspicion or any other choice.
Meanwhile, Kabir finds in Suhani what he had long been looking for: stability, trust and emotional clarity. Aarohi's return threatens to pull him back towards the same intensity that has always driven his relationships and his identity as a writer. The two women represent two opposing forces in Kabir's life. He finds himself between a love that feeds confusion, control and freedom, and a love that protects him from it. As emotions turn into a mind game, 'Ishq Ishq' asks an unsettling question: does love cross the line and become a restless obsession?
Amogh Dusad, Director and Head of AVOD Content, Prime Video India, said, "'Ishq Ishq' revolves around love and emotion. The series explores what it really means to live with obsession, control and the fear of being abandoned. At its core is a compelling emotional rhythm, in which the characters are constantly pulled between confusion and comfort, intensity and stability. With Amit Kumar Jha's vision and the powerful performances of Hetty Shah, Satyajeet Dubey and Anushka Kaushik, we are eager to bring this deep and unexpected story to audiences."
Speaking about her character Aarohi, Hetty Shah said, "Aarohi loves Kabir with great intensity. But for her, love and control are almost the same thing. She loves with passion, but not only for that reason; she also does not trust an incomplete emotion. That is what drew me to the role. She is intelligent, strategic and deeply emotional, which makes the character unpredictable. She is vulnerable, yet one side of her can also be dangerous. Playing a personality who holds both these sides together was challenging and interesting for me."
On Kabir, Satyajeet Dubey said, "Kabir is a sensitive man. He gets himself into situations that become harder and harder to get out of. Suhani brings peace and emotional clarity into his life, but Aarohi's intense presence makes it difficult to truly move on. Even as Kabir tries to find a way out and build a different life for himself, he keeps getting pulled into situations he had never imagined. His journey is about finding a way through circumstances that offer no easy exit."
Describing the experience of playing Suhani, Anushka Kaushik added, "Suhani is grounded. She is emotionally aware and knows clearly what she wants from a relationship. Love should have openness along with trust. That is how I was able to shape this role. There is also a quiet strength in the character, which becomes clearer as the story moves ahead. Playing Suhani means handling emotions and relationships. It is not as easy as it always seems, so I found playing this character deeply satisfying."
The series goes beyond the conventional love triangle. It looks at what happens when desire turns into a fight and love, identity and control are no longer separate. Kabir is caught between Aarohi's intensity and Suhani's steady emotion. Every choice has a consequence, and the line between loving and being controlled begins to blur.
The MX Original 'Ishq Ishq' will stream from October 7, 2026 on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app.
