New information has emerged in the firing case involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. Nearly a week has passed since the incident, and fresh details are surfacing during the investigation. Two armed attackers are said to have been standing near Shroff's vehicle when the firing took place.
According to the information available, one attacker had a country-made pistol, while the other had a Turkish-made Zigana pistol. A key detail has also emerged on how Shroff escaped with his life.
Shroff is said to have gone to play football in the Pushpa Nursing Park area of Juhu. As he was leaving the ground after the game, two attackers and a motorcycle rider with them were lying in wait there.
As soon as Shroff came out of the ground, both attackers drew their guns and began firing towards his vehicle. Panic spread in the area. Shroff was sitting in the seat next to the driver, so the weapon of the attacker firing from that side proved crucial.
According to the information that has emerged, the attacker standing in front of the vehicle's bonnet had the country-made pistol. The other attacker, who fired from the side where Shroff was seated, had the Turkish-made Zigana pistol.
When the two began firing, the country-made pistol fired continuously. But the Zigana pistol is claimed to have locked, so that the attacker could not fire as expected.
It is being said that Shroff escaped a major danger because of this technical problem. However, the claim is yet to be officially confirmed. The exact cause of the malfunction should also become clear through the investigation.
Police are reported to have found two live cartridges at the spot during the investigation. These are said to be linked to the Zigana pistol. Both pistols have also reportedly been seized from Gujarat.
The seized weapons will now undergo forensic examination. This could establish how well the pistols were functioning, whether they had any technical defect, and exactly how the weapons used at the spot relate to the firing.
Several questions are being raised in the case: what the attackers' motive was, how they planned the attack, and whether anyone else was behind it. It is hoped that the police investigation will answer these questions.
The claim that the Zigana pistol locked is being discussed, but final conclusions on it will become clear only through forensic and official investigation.
