Tiger Shroff car firing: fourth suspect said to have fled before the attack

New information is emerging in the investigation into the firing on actor Tiger Shroff's BMW. It is now suspected that four people, not three, were initially behind the attack. According to the police probe, the attackers had first planned to target top Bollywood actors, but are said to have changed their plan after seeing the security arrangements and picked Tiger Shroff instead.

The BMW was fired upon from the front at around 7 pm on Sunday. Tiger's driver and one other person were reportedly seriously injured. The seriousness of the case increased after a video of the incident and CCTV footage from the area surfaced.

Police stepped up the investigation after the incident. According to available information, three alleged main attackers and four more people accused of helping them have been arrested. It is reported that two young women are among them. However, the exact role of each accused is yet to become clear from the investigation.

According to information from the probe, Tiger Shroff was not the attackers' original target. Investigators suspect that the homes of actors Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan were reconnoitred. However, the attackers allegedly changed the plan, keeping in mind that there is tight security outside those homes and that carrying out an attack could prove difficult. It is reported that they then looked for an actor with less security. Official confirmation of these claims is important.

It is suspected that information about Tiger Shroff was gathered from the internet. Information linked to the probe says his daily movements and whether security personnel accompany him may have been tracked. He is reported to have been under reconnaissance for about seven days.

It is claimed that the attackers had learnt that Tiger goes to play football at a ground in Juhu on Sundays. The suspicion in the probe is that they may have seen that he does not have a large security convoy at that time, mainly just his driver. The alleged conspiracy is reported to have been planned on this information.

Another important point in the case is the role of the alleged fourth accused. Information has emerged that he was involved in planning the attack, but distanced himself from the other accused the night before the incident and fled. It is also claimed that he moved away on the pretext of smoking a cigarette.

Police are working to establish the role of each accused, the motive behind the attack and the threads of the alleged conspiracy.
