Mumbai Crime Branch has detained one more suspect from Indore in the case of the firing on actor Tiger Shroff, taking the number of accused in the case to 11. Police say the suspect is accused of providing money and other help to a network linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Meanwhile, the Crime Branch raided a location in Surat, Gujarat, and seized two pistols and 10 live cartridges. Police suspect these pistols were used to fire at Tiger's car. According to information, the accused hid the weapons in Surat while fleeing after the attack.

The two pistols and the cartridges will be sent for forensic examination. Their ballistic report will be matched against the empty cartridges recovered from the spot. The firing on Tiger's car took place in Juhu at around 7 pm on October 18.

Three people were arrested in the case at Kota railway station in Rajasthan the day after the attack. They are Phoolsing, Ritik and Rehan. Police say the three were trying to flee to Nepal via Jaipur and Delhi. The three suspected shooters caught in Kota have been given 10 days in police custody. Action linked to the case has also been taken in Sonipat in Haryana and in Delhi.

One of the arrested shooters has claimed that the firing was linked to Tiger's relationship with Salman Khan. According to sources, the shooter told police that Tiger had praised Salman Khan during the promotion of a film in 2022. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang was angry with him over this and wanted to take revenge.

Police are currently investigating several aspects, including the reason for the firing, the supply of weapons, contact among the accused and their alleged links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Separately, Tiger Shroff has sold his apartment in Khar West, Mumbai, for Rs 9 crore. The 1,291 sq ft flat is on the ninth floor of Rustomjee Paramount society. Tiger had bought it in July 2018 for Rs 7.61 crore.
