The third list of eligible farmers under the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme 2026 was officially released on October 12, 2026. The list includes the names of 3,51,192 farmers in the state, or about three and a half lakh farmers.

Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil has appealed to eligible farmers to check the outstanding amount in their loan accounts and complete Aadhaar authentication at the nearest Aaple Seva Kendra at the earliest. According to him, the list has opened the way for these farmers to receive the benefit of loan waiver.

Under the scheme, crop loans disbursed between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2025, which were outstanding on September 30, 2025 and were not repaid by March 31, 2026, are being waived up to Rs 2 lakh. The same benefit is being given to restructured and re-restructured loans.

Patil said the scheme is being implemented through an online computer system and MahaIT has been appointed for it. Banks have uploaded details of a total of 31.17 lakh outstanding loan accounts on the scheme's portal. So far, lists of a total of 24.67 lakh beneficiary farmers have been published for Aadhaar authentication.

The division-wise number of farmers in the third list is: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division 2,06,450, Amravati division 85,076, Nagpur division 30,738, Nashik division 14,244, Pune division 11,928 and Konkan division 2,756.

District-wise lists of the eligible farmers have been published at bank branches, development societies and gram panchayats. Farmers whose names are on it will be given the benefit of complete loan waiver. Farmers have to confirm their loan outstanding and get Aadhaar authentication done.

The outstanding amounts in the list are as on March 31, 2026. Interest and other charges from April 1, 2026 onwards will be waived. Farmers should therefore confirm their loan outstanding as of March 31, 2026 and complete authentication at the nearest Aaple Seva Kendra.

In the lists of nationalised and commercial banks, some farmers have an outstanding loan of more than Rs 2 lakh as on March 31, 2026. Even so, under the government's haircut policy, such loans will be reduced fully to zero. Farmers should therefore not conclude that they will not get the benefit if their outstanding is above Rs 2 lakh. They should check the list entry and the bank's details carefully.

A standard operating procedure (SOP) was issued on August 19, 2026 to give the benefit to eligible beneficiaries who have died, are elderly or whose thumb impressions are not recorded. After Aadhaar authentication, the loan waiver amount will be credited to the farmers' loan accounts. Cooperation Minister Babasaheb Patil has asked eligible farmers to complete the necessary process on time and avail the benefit of the scheme.
