A theft took place in broad daylight at Oye Churros, the Mumbai cafe owned by Bigg Boss fame actress Archana Gautam. Archana herself said on social media that a thief had picked up and carried off the entire cash counter of the cafe. Known for her outspokenness, Archana is often in the news, and the incident has put her in the spotlight once again.

Archana shared CCTV footage of the theft on her Instagram account. The video shows a person near the cash counter. While posting it, she urged her fans and all citizens to keep the security of their homes and business premises stronger.

Archana said an FIR has been filed in the case and the Mumbai Police are investigating the incident. A formal complaint about the theft has thus been registered and the police are working on it, she said.

Speaking about the theft, Archana said she had set up Oye Churros with her own savings and had personally attended to every small detail of the cafe. She was deeply shocked that a thief walked into the cafe and took away the entire cash counter.

Archana has requested the Mumbai Police to trace the person involved at the earliest and take appropriate legal action.

Archana further said she had always believed Mumbai to be a safe city, and that she was greatly saddened that a theft had occurred at her own cafe. She urged citizens to stay alert and pay attention to security around them, and left a message: "Stay alert, stay safe and take care of the security around you."

Archana Gautam opened the cafe, Oye Churros, in Mumbai in October 2025, taking her first step into the food business. The cafe is in Andheri West, near Versova Metro Station.
