Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, SPJIMR, has invited applications for admission to its Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management Business Management (PGDM BM) programmes for the 2027-2029 academic session. Interested students can fill a single form and choose their preferred programme. The last date to apply is November 27, 2026, and students can apply at pgdmadmissions.spjimr.org.

Both programmes are two-year full-time residential courses designed to develop management skills through academic study, industry engagement, peer learning and practical experience. The PGDM programme has 240 seats for Indian citizens and 36 seats for foreign nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO). The PGDM (BM) programme has an annual admission capacity of 120 seats.

SPJIMR holds the international Triple Crown accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. It ranked second in India in the Financial Times Masters in Management 2026 rankings and has featured among the world's top 50 business schools for the seventh consecutive year. The institute says its teaching emphasises peer learning, industry involvement, live projects and connecting classroom learning with professional practice alongside core management courses. Through the Global Fast Track (GFT), students also get the opportunity to study at renowned business schools around the world and learn specialised skills.

For the 2026 batch, the average salary across the PGDM and PGDM (BM) programmes was Rs 33.75 lakh per annum, while the highest package recorded was Rs 75 lakh per annum. Professor Renuka Kamath, Associate Dean of Full Time Programmes at SPJIMR, said, "At SPJIMR, we prepare students not just for their first job, but for leadership that matters throughout their lives. Our PGDM and PGDM (BM) programmes combine academic depth, industry alignment and a strong sense of purpose, enabling our graduates to create value for business and society in this rapidly changing world."

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university. Work experience is not mandatory, meaning both fresh graduates and candidates with up to five years of experience can apply. Applicants can submit CAT 2026 or GMAT scores, which must be valid between January 1, 2024 and December 10, 2026. Students in the final year of their degree are also eligible to apply.

Professor Ashita Aggarwal, Chairperson of SPJIMR's PGDM and PGDM (BM) programmes, said, "Walk into any classroom and you will find a banker talking to a doctor, or an engineer disagreeing with an architect. This diversity is deliberate. We do not just teach management principles; students work on real projects and interact with mentors until theory becomes a natural habit. Our principle that a person should be more capable of working from day one has not changed. Our entire focus is on classroom diversity, rigour of method and consistency of outcomes."

PGDM students can choose two specialisations from Finance, Information Management and Analytics, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain. PGDM (BM), on the other hand, is a comprehensive management education programme. Students can choose the programme based on their career goals.
