Mahatransco invites 23 ITI electrician apprentices at Pimpri-Chinchwad, apply by October 16
Mahatransco's Pimpri-Chinchwad division is recruiting 23 apprentices in the electrician trade for 2026-2027, with a one-year training period.
The Aundha Sanvasu division of the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (Mahatransco) at Pimpri-Chinchwad has begun recruiting apprentices for the 2026-2027 session. The recruitment is in the electrician trade and 23 vacancies will be filled. The administration has asked interested and eligible candidates to apply online.
As per government rules, the training period for the selected candidates is one year. The last date to apply is October 16, 2026. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
Candidates must have passed the Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination or an equivalent examination. They must also have passed the electrician trade examination from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) recognised by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCTVT), New Delhi.
The age limit is 18 to 30 years. A relaxation of 5 years has been provided for candidates from the backward classes, as per the rules.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of the percentage of average marks in SSC and ITI, in accordance with social reservation. As part of the selection process, original documents will be verified on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11 am to 4 pm. The verification will take place at the Aundha Sanvasu division, Pimpri-Chinchwad (near the 220 kV substation, Chinchwad, Bijlinagar). The final selection list will be drawn up from among the candidates who are present.
