Shots were fired at the car of Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai's Juhu area on Sunday evening. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has now allegedly claimed responsibility for the incident. A post in the name of gangster Anil Pandit has surfaced on social media.

According to the viral post, Pandit claims he is speaking on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The post also appears to suggest that he is taking responsibility for the alleged attack on Tiger Shroff.

An audio recording has also surfaced in the case. In it, a man who describes himself as Anil Pandit is heard claiming responsibility for the incident on behalf of the gang. The speaker in the recording says, "I am Anil Pandit, Lawrence Bishnoi's younger brother. What happened with Tiger Shroff in Mumbai today, I, Anil Pandit, and my elder brother Harman Sandhu are taking responsibility for it. We had explained to him, but he did not understand. Anyone in the entire film industry who works with Salman Khan, we will finish him. This is the first and last warning."

He then addresses Salman Khan directly, saying, "If you do not apologise to my elder brother, Lawrence Bishnoi, or to the Bishnoi community, I will not spare even a dog in front of your house. We will destroy your entire family."

The speaker in the audio also claims that security will not save those being targeted. He said, "You think you have security, so nothing will happen to you. Right where your own security is, our man is sitting inside." This too is his own claim.

The authenticity of the audio, and whose voice it is, has not been confirmed by any independent source.

Congress MP Varsha Gaikwad has hit out at the government over the incident. She said, "This incident has once again raised serious questions about Mumbai's deteriorating security and law and order. Earlier we saw the firing outside Salman Khan's house. Unfortunately, Baba Siddique was shot dead. There was also firing outside Rohit Shetty's house... If even prominent people like politicians and actors are not safe here, who should the common man turn to?"

Gaikwad further said, "This makes it clear that the Chief Minister holds too many portfolios and is overburdened with work. Maharashtra needs a separate, full-time Home Minister who is truly capable and strong... I demand once again: give the police its freedom, let it do its work, and stop the political pressure being exerted on it by the Home Department."
