The small-cap stock has hit repeated upper circuits and is close to its 52-week high, as the company also launched its AgriBridge digital farm platform.
Shares of SC Agrotech Limited, a small-cap company, have been rallying sharply. In just seven trading sessions the stock has risen about 37 per cent. Priced below Rs 50, it has been hitting upper circuits consecutively and has moved very close to its 52-week high.
The stock was at Rs 30.88 on October 23, 2026, and closed at Rs 42.26 on November 3, giving investors a return of 36.9 per cent in a few days. Its 52-week high is Rs 43.80, and the stock now stands right next to it.
Trading volumes have also climbed fast. On October 27 only 5,266 shares of the company changed hands, while on November 3 the figure rose to 3.32 lakh shares.
The company's strong results are cited as the biggest reason for the jump. Revenue from operations in the second quarter was Rs 45.26 crore, against Rs 5.02 crore in the same quarter last year.
Net profit also rose steeply, to Rs 10.21 crore from Rs 21.21 lakh in the same quarter last year, an increase of about 48 times. For the first six months of the current financial year, the company reported total revenue of Rs 83.11 crore and net profit of Rs 19.77 crore.
Along with the results, the company has taken a major step in the agri-tech sector. From November 4, 2026, it has opened to the public a digital farm platform called AgriBridge (agribridge.app). The platform will bring farmers, agricultural suppliers and institutional buyers together in one place, and is meant to make crop registration, finding buyers and digital transactions easier.
Although the company's performance is good, continuous upper circuits and low-priced shares can cause volatility in the market. For investors, it will be important to see whether the company can sustain this revenue and profit in the coming period, and how much the AgriBridge platform actually earns.
