BSE-listed SC Agrotech Limited reported a more than 48-fold jump in July-September net profit and an 802 per cent rise in revenue from operations.

SC Agrotech Limited, an agriculture company listed on the BSE, has announced its results for the second quarter, July to September 2026. The company's net profit rose more than 48 times to Rs 10.21 crore, while its revenue recorded a record increase of 802 per cent.

The figures are from unaudited results approved by the company's board of directors. Revenue from operations in Q2 FY27 was Rs 45.26 crore, against Rs 5.02 crore in the same quarter last year, Q2 FY26.

The company's profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter reached Rs 13.67 crore, compared with Rs 21.21 lakh in the same quarter last year. Net profit, by comparison, recorded a sharp increase of about 4,714 per cent.

For the first six months of the current financial year (H1 FY27), total revenue was Rs 83.11 crore and net profit reached Rs 19.77 crore.

The comparison with the whole of last year is also notable. In the full financial year 2026 (FY26), the company earned revenue of Rs 88.06 crore and a profit of Rs 3.34 crore. In just the first six months of FY27, its profit is already six times its profit for all of last year.

Apart from its traditional agriculture business, SC Agrotech plans to launch a digital platform called AgriBridge. It will connect farmers directly with institutional buyers. The platform's main aim is described as using technology to close gaps in the agricultural supply chain.

On the company's financial position, its net profit margin in Q2 was 22.6 per cent. Shareholders' equity rose to Rs 137.80 crore.

There is, however, another side. As of September 30, 2026, the company's trade receivables, or dues from traders, stood at Rs 122.60 crore. Cash flow from operations in the first six months was negative at Rs 9.05 lakh. Recovering these dues and managing working capital will therefore be important for the company in the coming days.
