Rakhi Sawant questions Govinda over Ganeshotsav outing with Komal Rani

Actor Govinda has been in the headlines over his alleged relationship with actress Komal Rani Swarnkar. During Ganeshotsav, Govinda and Komal Rani visited Mumbai's famous Lalbaugcha Raja together for darshan. Several photos and videos of the two went viral on social media, reigniting talk of their alleged relationship. Actress Rakhi Sawant has now reacted to the matter.

Sharing a video on social media, Rakhi Sawant posed a direct question to Govinda. She said he should have taken his wife, Sunita Ahuja, along for the Ganpati darshan instead.

In the video, Rakhi said she is Govinda's friend and has supported him on many things, but she did not think his decision to go for the darshan with Komal Rani was right.

Rakhi said Govinda should have spent time with his wife Sunita Ahuja on the occasion of Ganeshotsav. She also said the couple should try to put the bitterness in their relationship behind them and come together again.

According to Rakhi, it would have been more appropriate for Govinda to take Sunita Ahuja, the woman with whom he has spent nearly 40 years of his life, for the Ganpati darshan. Rakhi asked Govinda, "Why are you going around with someone else's wife? You should have taken your own wife, Sunitaji, with you."

Rakhi also raised questions about Komal Rani in her video. She said Govinda should try to repair his relationship with his wife Sunita Ahuja and that there should be no interference from a third person in their relationship. This, however, is Rakhi Sawant's personal reaction. Neither Govinda nor Komal Rani has issued any official statement on Rakhi's remarks or on their alleged relationship so far.

During Ganeshotsav, Govinda and Komal Rani Swarnkar had arrived together for darshan at Lalbaugcha Raja. Govinda wore a white traditional outfit, while Komal Rani was also seen in traditional attire. The two offered prayers and had darshan of the deity. Govinda is also seen in the video taking part in the final aarti. When kumkum was seen in Komal Rani's hair parting during the darshan, social media users also began speculating about her marriage. Some users questioned whether the two had married. However, a larger portion of the video shows that kumkum kept at the deity's feet fell on Komal's head during the darshan, which is how it appeared in her hair parting. So no conclusion about Govinda and Komal Rani being married can be drawn from this visual alone. Neither Govinda nor Komal Rani has made any official announcement about a marriage or relationship.

Meanwhile, after the Govinda-Komal video surfaced, an old conversation involving Sunita Ahuja also resurfaced on social media. Paparazzi had asked her about her pet dog, and Sunita had compared human love with animal love. She had said that however much one loves humans, they can betray you, whereas animals always stay loyal, so one should love animals more than humans. Sunita did not name Govinda or Komal Rani in that statement, but it came into discussion again once the photos of Govinda and Komal at Lalbaugcha Raja went viral, leading social media to link it to their personal lives.

There has been talk of Govinda and Komal Rani's alleged relationship several times before as well. In August, Sunita Ahuja had expressed displeasure after Komal was seen with Govinda. Following that, claims were made that Sunita and Rakhi Sawant had spoken about Govinda and Komal's alleged marriage. However, Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha had dismissed these claims, clarifying that the question of Govinda remarrying did not arise.
