The accused allegedly left the girl, bloodied and writhing in pain, on the road at Dausa Collectorate Circle and fled. Lying helpless on the road, the girl somehow gathered courage and sought help from a local resident. The resident, without wasting any time, admitted her to the Dausa district hospital for treatment.
The girl had brought her newborn to the hospital wrapped in cloth. However, when doctors at the hospital examined the baby immediately, they declared the newborn dead. Grief and anger have spread in the hospital and the surrounding area.
According to the police investigation, the girl was already pregnant. A serious allegation has emerged that a youth named Ajay Kumar Meena sexually assaulted her around February and May. She is said to have become pregnant as a result.
Taking serious note of the incident, local police rushed to the Dausa district hospital. Police have begun recording the girl's detailed statement. A case has been registered against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, including charges of abduction and gang rape. Several police teams have been sent out to trace the absconding accused and arrest them at the earliest.
