There is good news for lakhs of farmers in the state and the country waiting for the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The official date of release has finally been announced. On October 30, 2026, Rs 2,000 will be credited directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers.
The amount will arrive before Diwali, so farmers will get major financial relief. It is being seen as a big gift from the government.
The date has been announced on the scheme's official website and on social media platforms. The Agriculture Ministry has also given its official endorsement. A post on the official PM-Kisan social media handle says clearly that all farmers should remember the date, as the 24th instalment of PM-Kisan will be given on October 30, 2026. According to the post, this continuing financial support will make the country's farmers more capable.
The money arriving just before the festival means a great deal to farmers. However, the payment of farmers whose e-KYC is incomplete may get stuck. Eligible farmers who want to know whether the next instalment will reach their account should therefore check their latest status.
For this, they must visit the scheme's official website, pmkisan.gov.in. In the "Farmer Section" of the portal, they have to enter their registration number. After entering the OTP received on the registered mobile number, the full details of the instalment and the e-KYC status will be easily visible on the next page. If e-KYC has not been done, it can be updated and completed easily.
e-KYC can also be done through a mobile app. For this, download the official "PM-KISAN" app and the "Aadhaar Face RD" app from the Google Play Store. Open the app and log in with the mobile number registered with PM-Kisan. Then go to the Beneficiary Status page. If the e-KYC status shows "No", click the "eKYC" option. After that, enter the Aadhaar details and give consent for face scanning.
Though the instalment date has been announced for October 30, it is not necessarily true that every registered farmer will receive the money. It is important that the scheme's eligibility conditions are met and the required verification has been completed. If verification of some beneficiaries' entries is pending, their payment may be withheld for now.
Farmers should therefore not wait until the last moment and should check their status on the official website. If e-KYC is incomplete, they should complete it, and make sure the details linked to their bank account are also correct.
