More than 600 Vida VX2 electric scooters were handed over from a single Vida centre in Jaipur on Dhanteras, a delivery recorded by the Asia Book of Records.
More than 600 electric scooters were delivered to customers from a single Vida centre in Jaipur on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. Vida VX2, the electric mobility brand of Hero MotoCorp, reached the milestone, and the deliveries have been recorded in the Asia Book of Records. All of this happened on one day, Dhanteras.
It has been described as a record for the most electric scooters handed over to customers in one city, from one centre, in a single day. The entry has come as sales of Vida's electric two-wheelers are rising, which makes it special for the company.
Along with the record, the company's sales figures have also come out. Vida recorded 80% growth in VAHAN retail registrations in October 2026 compared with the previous year. Its share of the electric two-wheeler market rose from 11.1% in October 2025 to 13.6%, an increase of 2.5 percentage points. Hero MotoCorp said it dispatched 30,143 Vida scooters in October. However, dispatches and customer retail registrations are different figures.
On the variants: the Vida VX2 is available in five variants: Go 2.2 kWh, Go 3.1 FB, Go 3.4 kWh, Plus 3.4 kWh and Plus 4.4 kWh. Depending on battery capacity, the IDC-certified range is 92 km to 187 km. The Go 3.1 FB has a fixed battery with direct plug-in charging, while the other variants have removable batteries.
The VX2 has an electric motor that delivers about 8 hp of power and 26 Nm of torque. Top speed varies by variant: 90 kmph for the Plus 4.4 kWh, 80 kmph for the Plus 3.4 kWh and 70 kmph for the Go 2.2 kWh. The Go variants have Eco and Ride modes, while the Plus also gets a Sports mode.
On features, the Plus models have a 4.3-inch TFT display and the Go models have an LCD screen. Smartphone connectivity, navigation, OTA updates and a Combined Braking System are also available. The Go 2.2 kWh has 33.2 litres of under-seat storage.
For charging and servicing, Vida has a network in India of more than 6,000 fast charging stations and more than 700 service touchpoints. This helps VX2 customers with charging and maintenance.
