Oppo launches A7 Pro Max 5G with 10,000mAh battery in global markets

Tech company Oppo has added another 5G smartphone to its lineup. The company has launched the new device under the name Oppo A7 Pro Max 5G in select global markets. It is part of the A series and has been launched in the midrange price segment. The phone will be available to customers in two colours, Lunar Black and Surfing Blue.

On pricing, the company has launched the device in Austria at a starting price of EUR 599, around Rs 61,000. This price is for the variant with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is no information yet on when the smartphone will launch in India.

On the display front, the phone has a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display with 1.5K, or 1,272x2,772 pixel, resolution. It supports an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, along with a maximum touch sampling rate of 330Hz. The display offers brightness of up to 800 nits, and up to 1,800 nits in HBM mode.

For performance, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset paired with an Adreno 629 GPU. In terms of memory, it offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

On the camera setup, the rear has a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and 2-axis optical image stabilisation, along with a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. For selfies and video calls, the front camera is a 50-megapixel unit with f/2.0 aperture and a 100-degree field of view.

For connectivity, the phone offers WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and a USB Type-C port. For security, it has an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the battery front, this latest device comes with a 10,000mAh battery supporting 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging.
