Neighbour killed in Nagpur over children's quarrel, three held
A 36-year-old man was beaten to death by neighbours in Nagpur after a dispute between children turned violent, police said.
A dispute between children turned deadly in the Wathoda police station area of Nagpur after neighbours attacked a young man with an iron rod. He died during treatment at a hospital.
Wathoda police have arrested three accused, including a couple: Wahid Ansari, Imran Ansari and his wife Rubina Ansari.
The incident took place at 9:30 pm on September 21 at Manavshakti Layout, Kharbi. The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Shahbaz Ishaq Shaikh.
An argument had broken out between Shahbaz and the accused family over a dispute involving their children. The accused beat Shahbaz, struck him on the head with a rod, and also assaulted him with their fists.
Shahbaz, who was critically injured in the attack, died at the hospital on the morning of September 22. Wathoda police have registered a case of murder.
