The wait for medical students who appeared for NEET PG 2026 is finally over. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the NEET PG 2026 result, and candidates can check it on the official website nbe.edu.in. The result includes marks obtained, percentile and All India Rank, along with other details.

This year's NEET PG exam was held in a single sitting on August 30, 2026, from 9 am to 12 noon. A total of 2,73,096 candidates had registered for the exam, of which 2,65,980 actually appeared. The exam was conducted at 1,111 centres across 339 cities nationwide. Students who faced technical glitches at some exam centres in Jaipur were given a re-test on September 5, and results for all these candidates have also now been released.

Checking the result is simple. Candidates need to visit the nbe.edu.in website and click on the NEET PG 2026 result link. After entering the required login details, the result will appear on screen. It shows marks, rank, percentile and eligibility status. Candidates are advised to download a copy of the result after checking it and keep it safe.

On cutoffs, the 50th percentile has been fixed for the General and EWS categories, with a cutoff of 262. For the General PwD category, the cutoff is 244 at the 45th percentile. For SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates within these categories, the 44th percentile has been set, with a cutoff of 226.

The result includes the candidate's name, roll number, name of the exam, subject, category, total marks obtained, percentile, rank and eligibility status. This NBEMS result will be valid for the current 2026-27 admission session. Candidates will use it to take part in the further admission process for postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS and PG Diploma.

A separate personal scorecard will also be made available to candidates after the result. According to available information, the scorecard can be downloaded from October 1, 2026. For this, candidates will need to log in to the official website using their username and password.
