A 14-year-old student died after jumping from the 12th floor of a building in Nagpur. The deceased was identified as Ninad Yatindra Vishwakarma. The incident took place at Max Glory Apartment in Pritamrajnagar, under the jurisdiction of the Beltarodi police station. The exact reason behind Ninad's death is not yet clear.

According to information received, Ninad lived with his family in the 'A' wing of Max Glory Apartment. He studied in class nine at Delhi Public School in Mihan. His father Yatindra is a software engineer working at a private company. Ninad was his parents' only child.

On Wednesday afternoon, the school bus, which was usually around ten minutes late, was delayed again, and Ninad's parents were waiting for him. At around 3:30 pm, Yatindra looked down from the gallery of their home and saw Ninad talking to an auto-rickshaw driver. Yatindra then went downstairs and asked him why he was so late. At that time, Ninad did not have his school diary with him.

When asked about the diary, Ninad said his friend had taken it and that he was bringing it home, after which he went inside the building. A short while later, hearing a sound from below the building, Yatindra rushed there and found Ninad in a critical condition. He was immediately taken to hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him dead.

The initial investigation has not found anything suspicious. However, the reason why Ninad took this final step is still not known. The parents are in deep shock over their son's death, making it impossible to speak to them in detail. Police have registered a case of accidental death and begun an investigation.

Police Inspector Ravindra Naikwade of Beltarodi police station gave information about the incident.
