Mumbai Port Authority invites applications for 25 Class I and II posts, last date October 28

The Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA) has issued the official advertisement for recruitment to various Class I and Class II posts. A total of 25 vacancies are to be filled at present. Online applications and fee payment have begun, and the last date to apply is October 28, 2026.

Of the vacancies, 24 are in Class I. These include 5 posts of Assistant Executive Engineer, 13 of Executive Engineer (Civil), 1 of Deputy Materials Manager and 1 of Executive Engineer (Telecom/Electronics). One post each of Accounts Officer Grade I and Assistant Traffic Manager Grade I, and two posts of Assistant Estate Manager Grade I, will also be filled. In Class II, there is 1 post of Assistant Security Officer.

For Class I posts, the basic pay will range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,60,000. With other allowances added, the estimated gross monthly pay will be more than about Rs 94,500. For the post of Assistant Security Officer (Class II), the basic pay is Rs 40,000 to Rs 1,40,000, and the gross monthly pay will be about Rs 75,600 plus HRA.

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age. Candidates from backward classes will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

There are two fee categories. SC, ST and PwBD candidates must pay only Rs 250 as Intimation Charges, plus 18 per cent GST. For all other candidates the fee is Rs 750, covering both the application fee and Intimation Charges, also with 18 per cent GST.

Interested and eligible candidates must fill in the online application through the "People & Career/ Jobs" menu on the Mumbai Port Authority's official website, www.mumbaiport.gov.in. Applications received by any other means will not be accepted.
