The smartphone maker says the app lets users, fans and content creators discuss topics, exchange ideas and form new communities.

Smartphone and technology company Motorola on Wednesday announced its official community app, named Motorollers. The company says users, fans, content creators and people interested in technology will be able to talk to one another on topics of their choice through the app. It will also allow an exchange of ideas and the creation of new communities.

The company has not limited the app to smartphones. Its aim is to bring together people with different interests, such as artificial intelligence (AI), photography, travel, gaming, sports and lifestyle.

The app's main feature is Tribes, a community that connects people with similar tastes and hobbies. Users can create a profile, publish content and take part in discussions. The app also gives them a chance to build an identity in the community and reach as many people as possible.

The app has some special options for conversation, called Vibe Check, Hot Take and Deep Dive, meant to increase members' participation. Polls can be used to gauge people's opinions, members can put forward their views on different issues, and detailed articles can help them understand a subject in depth.

T. M. Narasimhan, Managing Director of Motorola India, said that Motorola has always believed that technology should connect people to one another and give them the power to express their views. According to him, through Motorollers the company is offering a platform where its users, fans and technology enthusiasts can come together, share their interests, exchange ideas and build meaningful relationships.

The Motorollers app is available for download on the Google Play Store. Users can download it to join the community and become a "Motorroller".
