The XEV 9e, BE 6 and XEV 9S have together sold over 1 lakh units, and the BE 7 is expected to follow in 2027.
Mahindra & Mahindra's electric SUVs have reached a major sales milestone. Combined sales of the three vehicles built on the company's INGLO platform, the XEV 9e, BE 6 and XEV 9S, have crossed 1 lakh units.
The XEV 9e and BE 6 were launched on November 26, 2024. The electric range reached the figure before completing two years in the market.
The start was strong. The two SUVs received 30,179 bookings on the first day. Customer deliveries began in March 2025, and more than 3,000 units had reached customers by April. By November 2025, more than 30,000 units of the two models had been delivered.
The XEV 9S, a three-row SUV, later joined the electric family. Its customer deliveries began on January 23, 2026. It comes with three battery options: 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh. The 79 kWh version produces 282 hp of power and 380 Nm of torque. The battery supports 180 kW DC fast charging and takes about 20 minutes to charge from 20 to 80 per cent.
The BE 6 and XEV 9e come with two LFP battery options, 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The 79 kWh version produces 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque. On the MIDC cycle, the BE 6 has a maximum range of 683 km, while the XEV 9e has 656 km. A 175 kW charger takes less than 20 minutes to charge the 79 kWh battery from 20 to 80 per cent.
All three SUVs use the INGLO skateboard architecture and the MAIA electronics platform. Features include ADAS, multiple drive modes, regenerative braking and a premium audio system.
Mahindra's next big electric SUV will be the BE 7. The five-seater is expected to launch in 2027, further expanding the company's EV line-up.
