Mahavitaran officials heard complaints from Nagpur industries on power supply, voltage and billing at its "Swagat Kaksha" meeting.
Mahavitaran is taking steps to boost Nagpur district's industrial sector, remove obstacles to production and resolve entrepreneurs' power-related problems quickly and smoothly. As part of this effort, a meeting was held recently.
The meeting, called "Swagat Kaksha" (reception room), was organised at Vidyut Bhavan for industrial consumers of Mahavitaran's Nagpur city division. It was chaired by Rajesh Naik, chief engineer of Mahavitaran's Nagpur circle. Prafulla Lande, superintending engineer of the Nagpur city division, was also present.
Chief engineer Rajesh Naik said at the meeting that providing industries with good-quality, uninterrupted power supply is Mahavitaran's top priority. He said the complaints and technical problems raised at the meeting would be examined in depth by Mahavitaran's technical team, and an attempt would be made to resolve them all effectively, step by step, before the next Swagat Kaksha meeting.
Several representatives from Nagpur district's major industrial areas attended the meeting. These included MIA president P Mohan, office-bearers of the BMA, and representatives and entrepreneurs from various industrial bodies in the Hingna MIDC, Butibori MIDC and Wanjra MIDC areas.
Rajesh Naik drew officials' attention to several technical problems affecting industries' operations and production. These included interruptions in power supply, voltage fluctuations, issues related to adjustment of solar power units, billing problems and refund of electricity charges, which were discussed in detail.
After listening carefully to all the entrepreneurs' complaints and difficulties, Naik and Lande assured them of a quick resolution. Mahavitaran's prompt, cooperative and customer-focused Swagat Kaksha initiative brought considerable relief to the entrepreneurs. MIA president P Mohan praised this positive initiative and Mahavitaran's approach.
P Mohan said this regular Swagat Kaksha meeting held by Mahavitaran has become a reliable and effective channel for direct dialogue between entrepreneurs and Mahavitaran officials. He said this positive and cooperative policy of understanding industrial consumers' problems and acting on them immediately has brought major relief to Nagpur's industrial sector.
