Mahatma Phule Agricultural University invites applications for two contract research posts

Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, has invited applications for various contract posts on a research project. The project is being run under the university's department of soil and water conservation engineering. It is titled "Development of Innovative Framework for Carbon-Neutral Multifunctional Landscape Using Advanced Data Driven Tools".

The recruitment covers the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Technical Assistant. Eligible candidates are being invited to apply, and applications can be submitted both online and offline.

There is one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). Only candidates holding an M.Tech or M.E. degree in soil and water conservation engineering, water resources or irrigation engineering will be eligible. The selected candidate will be paid Rs 37,000 a month along with 10 per cent house rent allowance (HRA).

The post of Technical Assistant requires a B.Sc. (Agriculture) or B.E./B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) degree. Candidates must also have knowledge of computers. The honorarium for this post has been fixed at Rs 16,000 a month.

The age limit is the same for both posts. Male candidates must be up to 40 years of age and female candidates up to 45 years.

Interested and eligible candidates must fill in their applications in the prescribed format and attach attested copies of all required documents. The application must be submitted by 6 pm on October 19, 2026. It can be sent by post or courier, or handed in at the university office. Candidates can also email their applications to csws.mpkv@gmail.com.
