The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has released the timetable for the class 10 and class 12 examinations to be held in 2027. The board has said the class 12 written examination will begin on February 8, while the class 10 written examination will begin on February 15. The board has announced the dates in advance to make it easier for students to plan their studies and preparation.

Examinations will be held at the same time across all nine divisional boards in the state. These are Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan, where exams will be conducted in February-March 2027.

The class 10 written examination will run from February 15 to March 11, 2027. Practical, oral and internal assessment exams will be held between January 28 and February 13, 2027. The class 12 written examination will be held from February 8 to March 16, 2027, while practical, oral and internal assessment exams will be conducted between January 20 and February 6, 2027.

According to the board, the exam dates have been announced in advance to help schools, junior colleges and students plan preparation of their syllabus and to reduce the mental stress associated with exams.

The subject-wise detailed timetable has not yet been released. The board will separately issue the subject-wise detailed schedule for practicals, oral exams, internal assessments and written examinations on its official website. This timetable is based on the board's official notification, which will allow students to prepare properly.

The board's decision to announce exam dates in advance is a major relief for both students and teachers. It will allow students to plan their studies better without mental stress and complete their syllabus on time.

The subject-wise detailed timetable is yet to be released, but this initial schedule has given students considerable clarity to plan their exam strategy. All candidates are advised to rely only on the board's official website for the final and official timetable.
