Important news has come out for women beneficiaries of the state's Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Under the scheme, the August installment of Rs 1,500 has started being credited to eligible women's bank accounts. The state government has completed the process of transferring the required funds, and the amount is being sent in phases through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

The wait is now over for many women who had been waiting for the August installment. Those still waiting for it have been advised to check their mobile message inbox. According to the information available, the remaining eligible women will also see the amount credited to their accounts over the next 2 to 3 days.

For disbursal of the August installment, the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department approved the transfer of Rs 339.14 crore to the Women and Child Development Department. The related government order was issued on September 24. The funds have been earmarked to provide the scheme benefit to eligible women beneficiaries from the Scheduled Caste category. Once the administrative process was completed, the way was cleared to transfer the installment amount to accounts, bringing relief to women who had been waiting for several days.

Under the scheme, eligible women receive Rs 1,500 credited to their accounts every month. Installments up to July had already been credited to beneficiaries' accounts, after which women had been waiting to know when the August and September payments would arrive. With the August installment now being credited, there is some relief, though no separate information has yet emerged on exactly when the September installment will be credited.

The state government has previously credited the scheme's money during festival periods. Because of this, some beneficiaries had expected that, with this year's Ganeshotsav approaching, both the August and September installments would be credited together. However, only the August installment of Rs 1,500 is currently being disbursed, and no separate decision or disbursal information regarding the September installment has come out yet.

Since the funds are being transferred in phases, not all beneficiaries will receive the money at the same time. There is therefore no need to worry immediately if a bank message has not been received on the phone. Women have been advised to first check their bank account balance. If no message has arrived, they can contact the bank's official customer care to ask whether the amount has been credited, or if needed, visit their nearest bank branch to check the account balance. Eligible women beneficiaries of the scheme have been advised to check their account transactions to confirm whether the August installment has been credited.
