KVIC opens 50 contract posts, online applications close September 30

The central office of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) in Mumbai has issued a notification for contract-based recruitment. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates. The recruitment covers three categories of posts, Young Professionals, Consultants and Senior Consultants, with a total of 50 vacancies across all three.

There are 20 posts for Young Professionals. These will be filled across departments including accounts and audit, HR and administration, khadi, law, marketing, design and drawing, science and technology, and publicity. Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject and must be below 27 years of age as on October 1, 2026. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 along with a travel allowance.

For the 15 Consultant posts, only those who have retired from a government department or a public sector undertaking, or have taken voluntary retirement, and who have at least 15 years of experience will be considered eligible. The age limit for these posts is 65 years.

There are also 15 posts for Senior Consultant, for departments including accounts, khadi raw materials, administration, law, marketing and technology. Candidates need at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field and a postgraduate degree, and must be below 39 years of age. Senior Consultants will get a monthly salary of Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000.

All these posts are entirely on contract. The initial contract will be for 1 year, and it may be extended based on performance. Applications will be accepted only online, for which candidates must visit the Khadi and Village Industries Commission's official website www.kvic.gov.in.
